Soliox Technologies is based in the Sumel Business-2 complex. We are on the second floor, unit 57, right behind the old Ambica Mill compound near Vanijya Bhavan in Ahmedabad. It’s an interesting area because it feels like a mix of the old industrial side of the city and the newer business developments. Our space is pretty basic. We have our computers set up and enough chairs for everyone. The view from the second floor isn't much, just the other buildings in the complex, but it’s okay. We do a lot of tech work here, so there are usually cables running along the floor and a few monitors on every desk. It can get pretty hot in Ahmedabad during the summer, so the AC is usually working overtime. We aren't trying to be the most polished company out there. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. Some days are slow and others are completely packed with work, which I guess is how most businesses go. People often get lost finding this specific block because the Sumel complexes are quite big and similar-looking. We tell them to look for the Vanijya Bhavan landmark. It’s a decent place to work, and we have some good people here who have been with us for a while. It’s just a regular office life for us, with a lot of keyboard typing and occasional chats over tea in the afternoon when things settle down.
