Our office is on the ninth floor of a building called The Bliss, which is located right behind Hira Rupa Hall. This is on the Ambali Bopal Road, which is always busy with cars and people these days. Being near Santosha Road makes it fairly easy to find where we are, though the parking situation around here can sometimes be a bit of a headache for anyone visiting. We spend most of our time working on different development projects all across Ahmedabad. A lot of the work involves careful planning and staring at drawings for a long time before any ground actually gets broken at the site. It is a pretty quiet office for the most part, except for when we have meetings with the contractors or suppliers. We have been in this part of the city for a while and have watched the whole Bopal area change completely. It used to be much quieter and less developed. Now there are shops and offices everywhere you look. We try to keep our heads down and just focus on the specific task we have in front of us. Developing land is never as easy as it looks on a piece of paper, as there are always surprises in the soil or issues with the local permits. We just take everything day by day. It is a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a little bit of everything. One day we are checking site safety and the next we are in a meeting.
