We set up our office at The Bliss, taking up units 801 and 901. It’s situated just off the Iscon-Ambli Road, right across from where Meghmani Farm is. If you’re familiar with this side of Ahmedabad, you know how much construction is going on lately. It's a pretty active area to work in. We spend most of our days here tracking the progress of various developments. The office itself is practical. We’ve got a couple of big tables for laying out the large-scale drawings and a few computers that are always humming. It’s not about having a polished look for us; it’s more about having a place where we can solve the daily problems that come up on a job site. Sometimes there’s a delay with the cement, or the weather doesn’t cooperate, and we have to sit here and figure out a new plan. We’ve got a small crew of regulars who handle the different parts of the business. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. We just talk to people plainly and try to keep our promises about the timelines. The commute along Iscon-Ambli can be tough in the rainy season, but we've gotten used to it over the years. It’s just a normal workplace for people who understand how things are actually built from the ground up. There is always a pot of tea ready for whenever a contractor drops in to discuss the week's schedule.
