Our place is near the Jeevansathi Partyplot in the Bhadaj area of Ahmedabad. Specifically, we are at Block No 184-K. It’s a bit of a trek if you are coming from the city center, but it’s where a lot of the new development is happening. The area used to be very quiet, but now there is construction everywhere. We fit right in because that’s what we do. Our office is practical and doesn't have many frills. We have a lot of folders and rolls of drawings lying around. Sometimes the music from the party plot next door gets loud in the evenings, but it makes the place feel cheerful. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of building projects. It's a lot of back-and-forth with suppliers and workers. We don't pretend to be some huge corporation. We are just a local team trying to build things properly. Sometimes things go wrong, and we have to spend the whole day fixing a mistake on site. That is just how the construction business works. We drink our chai and get back to work. We like being out here in Bhadaj because there is room to breathe. It’s an interesting part of town to be in right now. We just focus on the day’s tasks and try to make sure everything is moving along as it should. No big speeches or fancy mottos, just us working.
