Shivling Texo Fab Private Limited is out here at Plot No. 72-73 in the Vidhata Indi-1 area. It is part of Pipodara village, so it’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main Surat city. The industrial estate is quite large and can get confusing with all the different plot numbers. We spend most of our time inside the sheds where the work happens. It’s loud because of the machines and there’s always a bit of a breeze coming through the open doors. The Taluka is Mangrol, which is a bit quieter than the center of Surat but still busy with all the textile stuff going on. You see a lot of trucks moving in and out of the gates all day long. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the papers and the phone. Sometimes the water is an issue or the roads get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is in this part of Gujarat. We’ve got 394110 as our pin code if you are looking for us on a map. Most people just look for the Vidhata sign and then follow the road down. It’s a practical setup for what we need to do. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that, just the workshop and some chairs for when people visit to talk about orders. It gets dusty, but that’s the nature of the work here.
