It’s a bit of a residential setting, being in an apartment block and all, but that is where we run our construction business from. The address is pretty specific, so once you find Swareet Appartment, you just head to the I block. Having the Torrent Power office nearby makes it easier for people to give directions when someone is coming over for a meeting. Construction is hard work and there is always something to manage, whether it is materials or labor or just checking on how a site is progressing. Ahmedabad-380051 is our little corner of the world. Working from an apartment means things stay a bit more personal and quiet compared to a big commercial tower. We have our files and plans spread out and we spend a lot of time on our mobiles coordinating with people at different sites across Gujarat. Vejalpur is a decent area to be in, it feels like a real neighborhood. We don't have a big fancy storefront or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we do our planning and handle the business side of things. Most of the time, the team is out in the field and the office is just where the main organizing happens. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do every day.
