If you head out to Village Chalthan in the Palsana area of Surat, you’ll find us at Sanmukh Fabrics. We’re in Divya Place, specifically block 197, flat or unit 218. It’s a bit out of the main city center, which is actually nice because it’s a bit different from the crowded markets. The area is quite industrial and you can see a lot of fabric work happening all around this village. Our place is where we handle the fabric side of things. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, especially during the monsoon when the roads get a bit rough. Inside, it’s mostly just stock and some basic office stuff. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls. We mostly just have calendars and lists of what needs to be shipped out. The people working here are mostly locals from around the village. We’ve got a routine that starts early in the morning before it gets too hot. It’s a simple life out here in Chalthan. We focus on the fabric and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes we lose track of time because there’s always something to count or move. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules, just a family-like setup where everyone knows what they need to do. It gets the job done without any unnecessary drama or complicated systems that just slow everything down for everyone involved.
