At Sangani Fashion Private Limited, we work out of units 86 and 87 in the Jay Bhavanin building. We are located on the Bardoli Road in the Magob area of Surat. This part of town is always moving, with vehicles heading towards the highway and back. Our units are right next to each other, so we’re constantly walking between the two rooms to check on things. One room is mostly for the office work and the other is where we keep all the stock. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the boxes piled up. The floors are concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter months, but usually, it’s just warm and humid like the rest of Surat. We have a couple of old desks and some chairs that have seen better days. The 395010 pin code is a busy place for the fashion trade. We see a lot of the same faces every day in the building. There’s a small shop nearby that makes decent samosas, which is where we usually end up in the late afternoon. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing ourselves; we just focus on the orders we have. The windows are usually dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we don't mind. It’s an honest place to work. We’ve been here for a while and have slowly filled up every inch of the two units with our materials and paperwork.
