Rasee Knitwear Private Limited

We are located in the Changodar Industrial Estate, which is a bit outside Ahmedabad. Rasee Knitwear Private Limited is near Dhansri Agro in Village Changodar. We are in Unit 1, and the area is filled with factories and warehouses. It’s a very industrial setting, not much greenery around, just a lot of steel and concrete. Our building is a large shed-like structure where we have the knitting machines set up. They make a lot of noise when they are all running at once, so you have to talk loudly to be heard. We focus on knitwear, so the atmosphere is a bit different than a weaving mill. There is a lot of lint in the air sometimes. We have a small office section partitioned off with some glass and plywood where we handle the paperwork. It’s not very fancy, just some basic chairs and a computer that is a few years old. We get a lot of trucks coming in from the highway to pick up goods. The workers live mostly nearby and we have a good group that has been with us for a while. It’s a bit of a commute from the city, but being in Changodar gives us the space we need for the machines. We just work through the orders and try to keep the machines running smoothly.
