If you drive down Kumodh Pirana Road, you'll eventually hit Ashwamegh Industrial Park where we are. We're tucked away in Sheds 21 and 22. It's a decent-sized space, though we always seem to be running out of room for all the fabric rolls. Ahmedabad is a hub for this kind of work, so being in Daskroi feels right for Prospera Fabrics Llp. We started out small and just kept adding more equipment as the years went by. It's mostly just us working through the daily tasks, checking the weaves and making sure nothing is snagged. The dust can get pretty bad around here during the dry season, so we’re always cleaning something. It’s just me and a handful of workers who’ve been with me forever. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just reliable. When you walk into the shed, it’s usually loud from the looms, but we like the sound. It means things are moving. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall just outside the park gates when we need a break. It's a simple operation. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth or by just stopping by the park. We’ve been at this for a bit now and plan to stay as long as people need what we’re making at Shed 21/22.
