Our office is situated in the Motera area of Ahmedabad, in a building called Maitri Shiv Greens. We are in unit B/701, which is on the seventh floor. The building is also known as Omkareshwar and sits right across from the Kena Bungalows on Motera Road. It is a busy area, especially with the cricket stadium nearby, so there is always something happening on the streets below. The office is basically an apartment that we have set up for our work. It feels very informal and comfortable, which is how we like it. We have our desks in the main room and a lot of shelves for our project files. From the balcony, we can see the traffic on Motera Road, which helps us gauge when the rush hour is starting. We do infracon work, so a lot of our time is spent on technical details and talking to site supervisors. It is a small team here, and we all know each other well. We do not have a big lobby or a receptionist, so if you visit, you just walk right into our workspace. The building is generally good, though the lift can be slow during the times when everyone is going to work or coming home. We keep things very simple and do not spend much on fancy furniture. We just want a quiet place to get our tasks done and keep our projects moving along as planned.
