Prakashchand Fabtex Llp is located right at the heart of the textile trade in Ahmedabad. We are on the ground floor of the New Cloth Market, specifically at number 41. It’s just outside the Sarangpur Gate, which is a very old and busy part of the city. If you come here, you’ll see stacks of cloth everywhere and people rushing around with carts. It is a noisy, energetic place to work every day. We deal with fabrics, which is why being in the New Cloth Market makes the most sense for us. We get to see what is happening in the market as soon as it happens. Our space is practical and filled with rolls of material and ledgers. We don't spend money on expensive interiors because that isn't what our customers care about. They want to know we have the fabric they need and that the price is right. Working in Sarangpur means dealing with a lot of traffic and a lot of tea breaks. We’ve built up some good relationships with the other traders around here over the years. It isn't a corporate environment at all. It’s a place where you shake hands and get to work. We just try to keep things simple and honest. If we have it, we tell you. If we don’t, we don’t. We don't have any interest in fancy labels or big marketing slogans. That’s just how we do things here.
