Padmanabh Overseas is located over at Titanium City Center in Ahmedabad. If you know where Aaykar Bhavan is on Aanand Nagar Road, we are right nearby in office C-302. It’s a pretty busy area and finding parking can be a real headache some days. Our team is small and we’ve been working together for a good bit now. We spend most of our time dealing with overseas stuff, which means a lot of emails and staying up late to catch people in different time zones. It's not the kind of job where you just clock out at five and forget about it. There is always some cargo or some document that needs attention. We don't have a big marketing department or anything, just a few of us sitting at our desks making sure things move from point A to point B. Sometimes the internet acts up or the courier is late, and we just have to deal with it. We like being in this part of Ahmedabad because everything is close by, even if the traffic is a mess. We don't try to sound more important than we are. We are just a private company doing our part in the export-import world. Most of our furniture is a bit old now, and the coffee machine is temperamental, but we get the work done. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time without much fuss. We often have to run down to the street level to meet a delivery driver who got lost because the signage on the building isn't the best. It's those little things that take up your day, but we don't mind.
