We’re located in the GIDC Phase 1 area, right near Mehsana Steel. If you’ve ever been to the industrial estate here, you’ll know it’s a place where people really work hard. The surroundings are mostly factories and warehouses, so it’s not exactly a scenic spot, but it’s perfect for what we do at Okvin. The air usually smells like metal or exhaust from the nearby plants. Our building is a basic industrial unit. We’ve got the manufacturing and storage areas partitioned off from the small office space where we do the billing. It’s often quite noisy with the sound of machinery from the neighbors, but we don’t mind it much. We have a small crew that comes in every morning, mostly people from around Mehsana. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; if someone comes to the door, one of us just gets up from our desk to see what they need. The roads around here can be a bit bumpy because of all the heavy trucks, especially near the steel yard. We spend our days checking batches and making sure the labels are correct. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We eat our lunch together in the back room most days. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things the right way without any extra glitter or polish. It keeps us focused on the tasks we have at hand every single day.
