North Star Medical Aid Foundation

North Star Medical Aid Foundation is located at 12-C in the Gyankunj Colony. We are right across the street from St. Xavier's College in Navrangpura. Since we are so close to the college, there is always a lot of student activity and traffic around the area. The building itself is just a regular house-style setup in the colony. It does not look like a big corporate office or anything. We mostly deal with medical aid and coordinating things for people who need help. It is a foundation, so we are not really in it for the same reasons as a big private hospital. The office is usually filled with papers and phones ringing. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working in Navrangpura for a long time. It is a nice area even if it gets crowded. We do not have any fancy brochures or a PR team. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or they just see the sign when they are walking past Gyankunj. We spend the day talking to people and trying to figure out how to help them with their medical needs. It is a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down. Sometimes the weather makes the commute a bit of a pain, but we are always here. It is a practical place for practical work. We just do our bit and keep things moving.
