Nizzar Jewels Private Limited

Our office is up on the first floor at plot 4026 in Nalia Sheri. This is the Lal Darwaja part of Surat. If you’ve ever been down these lanes, you know they are tight. Nizzar Jewels Private Limited has been here for a bit. It’s an old building, but it works for what we need. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow. Upstairs, we have a couple of rooms where we handle the jewels. There isn't much of a view, just the buildings across the street. We keep the windows shut mostly to keep the noise out from the street vendors below. It’s a busy life in Lal Darwaja. We usually have a lot of small packets on the desks. Sorting through stones and checking metal takes up most of our time. We don't really have a lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and we’re right there working. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have more than five people in the room. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the slow afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out. It’s just how things are around here. We know the neighbors and they know us. We are just a group of people trying to keep things running smoothly in this little corner of the city.
