Niva Jewels Private Limited

Niva Jewels Private Limited is found on the ground floor of Shivalik Plaza. We are over in the Utran area, right near the Kapodara bridge. Being near the bridge means it’s always loud with trucks and bikes passing by, but you get used to the sound after a week. Our unit is B-7. It’s a pretty standard office space. We spent a lot of time getting the tables set up just right for the jewelry work. There are a few of us here every morning before the sun gets too high. We mainly deal with the jewelry manufacturing side. Most of our day is spent at the benches looking at small pieces through loops. It’s hard on the eyes sometimes. We keep a big water jar in the corner because Surat gets so humid. The shop floor is usually a bit messy with tools and bits of wire, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name on the door. People from around Utran know us. Sometimes we walk over to the local stalls for a quick snack in the afternoon. We aren't trying to do anything fancy. We just come in, do the work, and head home when the lights in the plaza start flickering at closing time. It is just a regular local business run by regular people who know their way around a jewel.
