Mittal Spinning Private Limited

Our spinning unit is out in Village Miroli, in the Daskroi area. Mittal Spinning Private Limited is based on Survey No. 145 and 146. It is a bit of a distance away from the main city, which is actually good because we need the extra space for the big machines. Spinning produces a massive amount of lint, so everything in the building is always covered in a very thin layer of white fluff. We have to clean the machines constantly so they do not jam up or catch fire. The village is quiet most of the time and most of our workers just walk to work from the nearby houses. It is a very basic industrial setup. We have the big spinning frames in the main hall and a small area for packing the yarn into bags. The roof is made of tin sheets, so it gets very loud inside when it rains heavily. We do not have a big office or a fancy waiting room for guests. If someone comes to see us, we just pull up a plastic chair in the corner of the warehouse and talk there. I spend a lot of my time checking the tension on the threads. If it is not exactly right, the whole batch can be ruined. We do not do much marketing; the yarn usually goes to the same few weavers every month. It is just a regular life out here in Miroli.
