Meesh Clothing Private Limited. Our unit is House No A/13 in the Tejendra Arcade. This is right at the Rakhial Cross Road in Ahmedabad. It is a very noisy and busy part of the city. There are always people and vehicles moving around the cross road. We’ve been in this arcade for a while. Our workspace is pretty simple. We don’t have any decorations or fancy lights. It’s just a place to do business. We do clothing and that involves a lot of fabric, thread, and buttons. You’ll find piles of these things all over the office. We are a private limited company but we run it like a small family shop. There isn't any corporate hierarchy here. We all do a bit of everything. If a delivery needs to be moved, we all help out. The tea from the shop downstairs is what keeps us going through the long afternoons. We don't have a mission statement or any promotional goals. We just want to finish the work we have and get more for next month. Ahmedabad is a great city for textiles, so we are in the right place. Most of our workers live nearby and have been with us for a long time. We trust each other. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living. We don't need things to be perfect, just functional. That is how we have always done things around here.
