Mahavir Care Foundation

We are over at Doctor House, which is right near the Parimal Crossing in the Ellisbridge area. Our office for the Mahavir Care Foundation is in unit B/404. Since there are so many doctors and clinics in this building, it’s a very busy place to be. You see people in the hallways all day long. Our office is small, but we try to make it as welcoming as possible. We have a few chairs for people to sit and talk with us. We aren't medical professionals, but we try to help people navigate the healthcare system or provide some support when they are going through a tough time. It’s a lot of listening and a lot of paperwork. Ellisbridge is a great location because it’s central, but the traffic around Parimal Crossing can be a real mess, especially during rush hour. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate logos on our walls. It’s just a plain office where we do our work. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized with our folders and files. We’ve been here for a good while and have gotten to know the other people in the building. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of foundation. We don't make big promises; we just try to be there for people when they need a bit of extra help or guidance. It's a simple, everyday job for us.
