You can find Laxter Pharmaceuticals over at 22 Mahesh Tenaments. We are situated near the Sahjanand Complex, right by the Holy-Child School. The Thakkarbapa Highway is just a stone's throw away, so the sound of traffic is pretty much constant. It’s a busy area in Ahmedabad. Since we are in a tenement, the layout is a bit different from a regular office building. We use the rooms for different stages of our daily work. One room is for the paperwork and another is where we keep the medicine stocks. It’s a tight space but we make it work. The school nearby means it gets really loud when the kids are coming or going, but it adds some life to the street. We don't have a corporate office feel at all. It’s more like a local place where everyone knows what to do without being told. We spend a lot of time on the phone with retailers. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit muddy, but we still manage to get the shipments out. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have calendars and some charts for tracking the stock levels. It’s a practical environment for us. We have been here for a while and most of the neighbors know our faces. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in our own way. There are no suits here.
