You can find Laxmi Diamtrend over in Mahidharpura, specifically at the Millenium Trade Center. We’re up on the fourth floor in flat 403. Mahidharpura is always loud and full of people moving diamonds around, so it fits us well. Thobha Sheri is usually packed with bikes and carts. It’s the heart of the trade here in Surat. We don’t have any big signs outside or anything. Most of our day is spent at the benches looking through loupes. It's quiet inside the office compared to the street outside. We’ve been doing this for several years now. It started as a small family thing and stayed that way. We don't use those big words like synergy or global reach. We just sell diamonds. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking coffee and looking at spreadsheets. The building is a bit of a maze if you haven't been here before. Just take the lift to the fourth floor and look for 403. We try to keep our overhead low so we don't have to charge people extra. It's a practical way to run a business. Some people think the diamond world is all glamour, but for us, it's just sitting at a desk and making sure the counts are right. We're just regular people trying to do a decent job every day and get home on time for dinner. Sometimes we stay late on Saturdays to finish the paperwork, but that's just how it is.
