If you know Ahmedabad, you probably know Diwan Ballubhai Road. It is always crowded with people, scooters, and cars. Our shop, Jtm Textile Industries Llp, is right in the middle of all that noise at the Mahavir Cloth Market. We are located at shop number 125. It is a small space, but we make every inch of it work for us. Most of our time is spent talking to traders or looking over the latest batches of textiles that come in from the factories. The market has its own rhythm that starts early and stays loud until late in the evening. We have been here in Gujarat for quite some time now, just doing our daily thing. There isn't any big corporate structure here, just a few of us and the cloth. We usually have rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and folders full of invoices piled up on the desks. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of all the people moving around in the market, but that is just how life is here. We don't have a mission statement or any fancy words written on the wall. We just show up, open the shutters, and deal with whatever needs doing that day. People come by, look at what we have, and we talk. It is a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes we grab a quick snack from the vendors outside when things get too busy to leave the shop. That is basically us.
