Maninagar has a very specific feel to it—it’s busy, crowded, and very much a community. Being right across from the school means we hear the kids during recess and the bell ringing throughout the day. It keeps the place feeling alive. Our office is just a small apartment unit where we handle all the club and resort business. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and desks, but it works for us. We aren't a big corporation with a lobby and a receptionist; you just walk in and we’re right there. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through the bookings. We’ve been in Pathik Apartment for a good while and we know the neighbors pretty well. Sometimes the parking on Ramji Mandir Road is a total nightmare, but that’s just life in Maninagar. We don’t go for any of that fancy marketing talk. We just want to do our jobs and make sure the resort is running the way it should. It’s a lot of work and sometimes we’re here late into the evening. But we’re locals and we like being part of this neighborhood. It’s a simple, no-nonsense way of doing things, and it suits us just fine.
