JDP Club & Resorts Private Limited is up on the eighth floor of Sakar-9. We’re right on Ashram Road, which is always a mess with traffic, especially being near the old Reserve Bank and the Times of India building. It’s a very central spot in Ahmedabad, so we get to see everything happening. Our office is room 817. It isn't a huge place, just enough room for our desks and a few chairs for visitors. We spend our time planning out things for the club and the resorts. It’s mostly phone calls and spreadsheets, if we are being honest. It isn't as glamorous as the name might sound. We are just regular people working in a busy office building. Sometimes the elevators in Sakar-9 take forever, which is a bit of a pain when we’re in a hurry. We don't have a big corporate culture. We just talk to each other and get the work done. The noise from Ashram Road comes right up to the eighth floor, so it’s never really quiet. We've been here long enough that we know the tea stall downstairs better than anyone. We aren't looking to change the world, just to keep our members happy and the resorts running smoothly. It’s a lot of small details that people don’t usually see.
