If you ever head out to the Vatva side of town, you might find us at Jagson Textiles Limited. We are located at Shed No. 264/1 in GIDC Phase-2, specifically in the Vinzol area. It is very much an industrial setting. There aren't many trees or fancy shops around here, just a lot of other sheds and factories. Working in a shed means it gets quite hot under the roof, especially during the peak of summer, but that’s just part of the textile life in Gujarat. We have our machinery and our stock all in one place. It’s loud when the work is in full swing, and there’s always a bit of lint or dust in the air. We don't have a posh office with air conditioning in every corner. We just have a small corner partitioned off for the paperwork and the phone. Most of our time is spent out on the floor making sure the textiles are being handled right. It’s a rugged kind of work environment. We know the other guys in Phase-2, and we often help each other out when someone needs a tool or a bit of advice. It’s a community of people who work with their hands and don't care much for corporate polish. We’ve been here for years, and the shed has seen a lot of long days and hard work. It's just a regular factory life for us.
