Huma Flour Mill Private Limited

Our flour mill is over at Godown No. 02, right near the Aeroma Estet on Sarkhej Road in Ahmedabad. It’s situated behind the Samrat Hotel, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find Huma Flour Mill Private Limited for the first time. The godown is a big, sturdy space that stays relatively cool even when the Ahmedabad heat is acting up outside. We spend most of our time around the grinding machines. There is always a fine layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of working with flour. We aren't the type to have a polished reception area or a lot of employees in suits. It’s just a few of us in work clothes making sure the bags are filled and stacked properly. The sound of the mill is pretty constant from early morning until we shut things down for the day. We get a lot of trucks coming through the estate, so there's always a bit of a shuffle to get things loaded. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that posted on the wall. We just know what needs to be done and we get to it. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend a few hours with a wrench, but we manage. It’s a practical life here on Sarkhej Road, and we’re quite used to the grit of it. It’s hard work, but we like it.
