Hemratan Foundation

Hemratan Foundation is located at Flat No. 02 in the Shri Krishna Complex on Bhudarpura Road. This is right in the middle of the Ambawadi Bazar area, so it is always very lively outside with shoppers and street vendors. Our office is on the ground level, which makes it easy for people to walk right in from the street. The complex is an older building with a lot of character, and our unit is quite compact. We have crammed a lot into the space, including several desks and rows of metal cupboards for our documents. It gets a bit crowded when more than four or five people are inside at once. We handle all kinds of administrative tasks for the foundation here, mostly focused on local community needs. There is always a pot of water in the corner and a stack of newspapers on the small bench near the door. The sound of the market is constant, with people shouting and vehicles honking, but it gives the place a lot of energy. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map of the local area. It is a working office where we spend our hours sorting through mail and making plans. People often stop by just to ask for directions since we are so close to the bazar. We just keep things moving and stay busy with our daily list of chores.
