Glia Biopharmaceutical Private Limited is tucked away in office 407 at Silver Rediance. If you know the Pakvan Char Rasta area, you know how busy it gets around there. We are right by Sindhu Bhavan Road in Bodakdev, which is basically the heart of the action in Ahmedabad these days. There are always new buildings going up and new cafes opening, so there is plenty of noise and dust from construction nearby. Our office is on the fourth floor, so we get a decent view of the traffic moving along the road. It’s not a very big space, but it fits our desks and the few cabinets we need for all our records. We usually show up around nine or ten in the morning and stay until the work is finished. The elevator in Silver Rediance can be a bit slow when everyone is coming in at the same time, so some of us just take the stairs to get the blood moving. We don't really have a big formal structure here. It’s mostly just us talking over the tops of our computers and figuring out the day's tasks as they come. We spend a lot of time on our phones and computers, just like any other office in the city. When the sun starts setting over Bodakdev, the light hits the office in a way that makes it look a bit better than it probably is. We’re just local people doing our jobs in a busy part of Gujarat.
