If you look for Shed No. 2 on the Narol-Vatva Road, you will find us right opposite the Gujarat Way Bridge. We are tucked in near the Anand Screen Printers building. Being in an industrial shed means it is loud sometimes, especially with the heavy machinery running nearby. Fashion Fair Apparels Private Limited is where we spend our ten-hour shifts most days. It is not a boutique with pretty lights and mirrors; it is a real factory floor. We deal with fabric and stitching all day long, and the floor is usually covered in thread scraps and cloth bits by the end of the shift. Our team is mostly local people from around Ahmedabad who have been doing this kind of work for years. We know the machines better than we know our own phones. The heat in Narol can be really tough in May, so we just keep the big shutters open to let whatever breeze there is inside. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website to show off. Most people find us because they know someone who has worked with us before. We just focus on making sure the clothes are stitched right and sent out to the clients on time. Sometimes the fabric deliveries are late because of the traffic on the bridge, and we have to scramble to catch up. It’s just how it goes in this business.
