Ek Sandbox Foundation

Our office for Ek Sandbox Foundation is right across from the Drive-In Cinema in Thaltej. We are at Plot No. 5 in the Sumangalam C.H.S.L. building. It’s a pretty easy spot to find, though the traffic gets really bad on the weekends when everyone is going to the movies. We have a small space where we work on different projects. It’s not a very formal environment. There are books and papers scattered around most of the time. We don't have a receptionist, so when you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us working at a desk. The building is okay, but the stairs are a bit narrow. We’ve been in Ahmedabad for a while now. The summers are tough, so we have a couple of noisy fans that stay on all day. We aren't a huge group, just a few people who like to get things done without much fuss. We spend our days on the computer or meeting with people from the neighborhood. Sometimes we have meetings that go long, and we end up ordering some food from the place around the corner. We don't use any corporate jargon or have big presentations. We just take one task at a time and try to finish it. It’s a bit messy and a bit loud with the street noise, but it’s our space and it works for us. If you need us, we are usually there from morning until the sun goes down.
