We set up shop in Ashapuri Society over in Ghodasar. It’s near the canal road, which is a landmark most people use to find us. Our office is at number 15. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s pretty calm compared to the center of Ahmedabad. Sometimes the kids are playing cricket in the street outside while we are trying to finish up our paperwork. We do a lot of different things under the Megacorp name, but mostly it’s just administrative stuff and keeping track of our various business interests. The office isn't very big, just a couple of rooms where we keep our computers and all the binders. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sending out emails to partners. Being near the Ghodasar Canal Road is handy because it connects us to the rest of the city pretty easily. We don't have a big sign outside or a lobby with a fountain. It’s just a door in a normal society. Usually, we take turns bringing in snacks for tea time, and that’s when we talk about what needs to get done next. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay busy enough. We’ve had to learn a lot as we go, especially with all the regulations you have to follow these days. It can be a headache, but we just take it one day at a time and try not to let the piles of paper get too high. We just keep our heads down and work.
