Our place is located in the Shahpur Mill Compound in Ahmedabad. If you know the area, we are right opposite Preyas High School. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history and dust. Concreat Crystal Salt Private Limited handles the salt business from this spot. The building at 1464/3 isn't brand new, but it has enough space for our operations. Most mornings start early because the compound gets crowded with trucks and people moving things around. Dealing with salt means things can get a bit messy, and the air always has that specific smell. We aren't trying to be some high-end corporate office. It’s mostly about managing the inventory and making sure the salt gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the roads difficult, but we manage. My family has been around this part of Ahmedabad for a long time. We know the neighbors and the tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It’s hard work and the days are long. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Just a few of us making sure the bags are filled and the records are kept straight. It's a straightforward life here in Shahpur. We focus on the product and the daily grind without much fuss. That is basically how we have always done things.
