Chirag Fashions Private Limited is based right outside Raipur Gate in the New Cloth Market of Ahmedabad. This is an old part of the city, and our building at number 251 has seen a lot of history. The New Cloth Market is always a bit chaotic, with people moving everywhere and trucks constantly loading and unloading. We’ve been part of this scene for a long time. Our office and storage space are filled with rolls of cloth and finished garments ready to go out. It isn't a silent place to work; you can always hear the city outside. We don't really go for polished presentations or fancy brochures. We just talk to our regular buyers and keep things moving. Some of the people working here have been with us for years, so we’re more like a small community than just coworkers. We eat together and complain about the traffic at Raipur Gate together. The work is repetitive sometimes, checking invoices and measuring fabric, but it is what we know. We don't try to sound like anything we aren't. We are just a local fashion business trying to keep up with the daily demands of the Ahmedabad market. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes and we find a lot of satisfaction in seeing our goods being loaded onto the trucks.
