Arvind Smart Textiles Limited

We’re based in the main building on the Arvind Limited premises, right on Naroda Road in Ahmedabad. This area has so much history when it comes to textiles, and you can really feel it when you walk through the gates. Our office at Arvind Smart Textiles Limited is part of this large complex that’s been around for ages. It’s not like those new glass buildings you see in the city; it’s got high ceilings and that old-school industrial feel. We spend our days here working on the more modern side of the fabric world. Even though the building is older, the work we do is pretty steady and focused. Naroda Road is always busy with trucks and commuters, and there is a certain energy to the place that you don't find elsewhere. We usually have our lunch together in the common areas, talking about everything except work. It’s a large site, so there is always something going on, whether it's maintenance or new shipments arriving. We don't really go for big speeches or polished presentations. We just get on with the job of producing textiles. It’s a bit dusty, and the hum of the nearby machinery is always in the background, but it’s home to us. We’ve been part of this landscape for a long time and just plan to keep doing what we do best for the years to come. It’s just how it goes here.
