Unity Plastomech

Unity Plastomech is tucked away in the Banner Industrial Estate in Rakhiyal. Our shop is at number 67, right across from where Soma Textile is located. It is an old industrial part of Ahmedabad. You can hear the sounds of the textile mills and other factories from the street all day long. We work with plastic machinery and various mechanical parts. It is a bit of a greasy job most of the time. We have lathes and milling machines running throughout the day. The floor usually has metal shavings and some oil on it. We do not mind that. It is just part of the everyday work here. People come to us when they need a very specific part for their plastic units or when a machine has broken down and needs fixing. We spend a lot of time looking at hand-drawn sketches and trying to figure out how to make things work better. We are not a big corporation. It is just a group of us who know how to handle these machines. We keep our tools ready and our heads down. Sometimes the heat in Ahmedabad gets really bad in the summer, especially inside a tin shed like ours. We just drink plenty of tea and keep going with the work. The location is easy to find because of the local landmarks nearby. We have been here for many years and mostly rely on people telling others about us.
