Down at Shop No.6 in the Shakti Timber area, things stay pretty dusty because of all the wood and the traffic from NH-8. Being in Thakkarbapa Nagar means we get a lot of trucks and cars passing through all the time. It’s a loud spot, but you get used to the sound of the highway after a few weeks. We mainly deal with auto parts and keep a stock that covers most of the common needs. The shop is small and the shelves go all the way to the ceiling to fit everything in. It can be a bit of a struggle to find a specific part when we're busy, but we usually manage. We aren't big on fancy displays or anything like that. People come to us because we are right here near the main road and easy to find. Working near a timber market means there is always someone moving heavy stuff around, so it’s a lively environment. We open up the shutters and start the day by checking what went out yesterday and what we need to get back in. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and counting stock. The floor is concrete and cold in the winter, but we keep busy enough to stay warm. We've been at this location for a bit, and the regulars know to look for us near the timber shops. It's just a regular parts store doing its thing every day.
