J.K. Valve & Co.

You can find us at number 38 in the Narayan Estate. It’s right across from the old Raipur Mill in Saraspur. J.K. Valve & Co. has been in this neighborhood for a long time. Saraspur is a crowded area, full of workshops and small factories, and we fit right in. We deal with valves of all kinds. It’s heavy, dirty work and our hands are rarely clean. The shop floor is filled with metal parts, tools, and the smell of grease. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us who know how these things are put together. There’s no formal front desk here. If you walk in, you’ll likely see someone working on a lathe or checking a pile of castings. We take our tea at the local stall and talk about the day's work. Our machines aren't the newest models, but they’ve been reliable for years. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this estate for decades. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and keep working. We aren't looking to change the world. We just make sure the valves we sell are solid and do what they are supposed to do. It’s a basic business for basic needs, and we like it that way.
