Vikas Store

You can find Vikas Store at 44/38 C on Sikandra Road in the Bodla area. We're quite close to the Bodla Petrol Pump, which is where most people stop anyway. It's a handy location for a small shop like ours. We sell the regular stuff people in Agra need every day. From bread and eggs in the morning to soaps and detergents for the housework. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a room filled with shelves. We’ve been running this place for a good number of years. It gets hot in the summers on Sikandra Road, so we keep a fan going behind the counter. We don't have a big team, usually just one or two of us here to help you out. We know where every single item is kept, even if the shelves look a bit messy to an outsider. It’s a practical business. We don't use fancy words or try to sell you things you don't need. If you want a packet of salt, we give you a packet of salt. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we get to know the kids as they grow up. It’s nice to be part of the community in Bodla. We open early so people can get things before work. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone knocks on the shutter. It's just a simple local store. We keep it going day by day without any fuss or big plans for the future.
