Trafo Power & Electrical Pvt. Ltd. is based at C-20, Site-C in the UPSIDC Industrial Area in Sikandra. It is a fairly large area, and we have a decent-sized shed for our work. We deal with transformers and heavy electrical stuff. There is a lot of oil and copper around. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuff marks from moving the heavy units. It is a bit of a trek to get out here from the main part of town, but it is where all the industrial work happens. We spend most of our time out in the main bay. It gets loud with the drills and the hum of the testing equipment. We do not have a fancy reception or anything like that. There is just a small desk near the entrance where we keep the logs. The weather in Sikandra can be tough, either very dusty or very hot, but we have got some big shutters we open to get a breeze. Our team is mostly local guys who have been doing this for years. We are not much for talk; we just get on with the repairs and builds. The back of the lot is full of old casings and spare parts we might need someday. It is a working shop through and through. That is just how it is at C-20. We keep it simple and focus on the hardware.
