Taj Motors Car Driving School

We started this driving school over at Tyagi Market because we saw how many people in Shastripuram wanted to learn but didn't know where to go. Being right by the Pashimpuri Crossing means there is always a lot of traffic, which is actually good for the students because they get used to the real Agra roads pretty quickly. Most days we are just sitting in the passenger seat, holding onto the extra brake and watching the mirrors while someone tries to get the hang of the clutch. It can be a bit stressful when the Pashimpuri-Shastripuram Road gets busy in the evenings, but that is just part of the job. We have a few different cars we use, and they aren't brand new or anything, but they work fine for learning. Sometimes the gears are a bit stiff. We spend a lot of time talking to nervous parents and young kids who are excited to finally get their license. It is a local thing, really. We know most of the shopkeepers around here and we usually grab tea from the stall nearby while waiting for the next student to show up. There isn't much fancy about what we do. We just sit in the car, explain the signs, and help people not stall out in the middle of the intersection. It gets dusty out there on the road, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the lessons one by one.
