Surendra Singh Verma has an office in Agra at 8, Raghubir Singh Kunj. This is right by the Civil Court, which is why there are always so many people in the area. Being near the court means the streets are full of advocates, clients, and people selling snacks or typing services. Our spot is a bit more tucked away in Raghubir Singh Kunj, just behind the Civil Court, so it’s not as loud as the main road. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Agra. Inside, it’s a very straightforward professional space. We have a lot of books and old files stacked up because that’s just the nature of the work we do. There are some fans that hum on the ceiling all day long during the summer months. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a traditional workplace where people sit and talk over documents. We’ve been here for many years and the place hasn't changed much. The walls are lined with wooden shelves and the desks are heavy and old. We usually start the day early before the court crowd gets too big. It’s a very practical location for us. Most of the people who come to see us are already in the area for court business anyway. We just keep our heads down and focus on the papers in front of us.
