Surendra Confectionery

Surendra Confectionery is located in Village Nagla Dakhal, which is part of the Firozabad district near Kotla Road. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we like the quiet of the village. We started this small confectionery to make sweets and local treats. Our building is just a simple structure off the main road. We don't have a big staff, mostly just family and a couple of neighbors who help out when things get busy. Most of our day is spent around the large cooking pots, stirring batches of whatever we are making that day. It can get very hot in the kitchen, especially in the afternoons. We don't use any high-tech gadgets; most of what we do is by hand, the way we learned it years ago. The supplies come in from Firozabad town, and we have to plan ahead because it’s not always easy to get things delivered quickly out here. We sell to the local shops and people who live nearby. It’s not a complicated business. We make the sweets, wrap them up, and sell them. There aren't any big marketing plans here. We just hope the weather stays good and the ingredients are fresh. It’s a steady life, and we’re happy to be working for ourselves in our own village. If you’re ever near Kotla Road, you can probably find us without too much trouble. We just do our best.
