We are also located in Peepal Mandi on Rawat Paada Road in Agra. My shop is not very wide, so we have to use the height of the walls to stack the goods. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and I have a small wooden ladder to reach the top ones. It gets very busy in the mornings when the temple nearby opens. People come in for incense sticks or matches. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool even when the Agra summer is boiling outside. We have bins full of different kinds of lentils and rice. I spend a lot of time tying up small plastic bags with rubber bands. The front door is a heavy iron shutter that we pull down at night. There is a small radio in the corner that plays old songs while we work. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want something, you just come and ask. Sometimes we run out of change and have to go to the shop next door to break a big note. It is a tight squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. We know most of the people who walk past by their first names. It is a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We try to stock what people ask for most.
