Sumit Kapur

My name is Sumit Kapur and you can find me at 8/369, tucked away in Nai Wali Gali. This area is mostly known as Hing Ki Mandi, and it's right near the B P Oil Mills in Agra. It's a very crowded part of town, very traditional and always busy with people. The streets are quite narrow, so you have to be careful when you're walking or driving a scooter through here. I’ve been working out of this space for a while now. It’s not a large office by any means, but it fits me and my work just fine. 282003 is where I spend most of my time. The smells from the market are always around—you can smell the spices and everything else. It’s a real part of the city's heart. I don't really have a big staff working for me. It's mostly just me and one helper who comes in. We keep the books and handle all the daily tasks that come our way. It gets a bit chaotic sometimes when a lot of things happen at once. I don't have any polished stories to tell about how we started this business. I just needed a place to work and this room was available at the right price. It’s a practical choice. The neighbors are good people, mostly other small business owners like myself. We look out for each other. If the power goes out, we all stand outside and wait.
