Sujata Clinic

We set up Sujata Clinic over on Bodh Ashram Road, not too far from Pili Kothi. If you know that landmark, you won't have any trouble finding us. The road gets busy, especially with people heading towards the ashram, so there’s always noise outside. Our clinic is a modest place. We don’t have fancy equipment or a lobby with a television. It’s mostly just chairs, a desk, and the exam rooms. We’ve been here long enough that we recognize most of the faces walking by. People stop in for their regular medicine or when their kids have a fever. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few people to keep things moving. Sometimes the wait is a bit long if a few families come in at the same time, but people are usually patient. We try to keep the place cool during the summer, but those old fans can only do so much. It’s a very local business. We don't do any advertising; people just know we're here by the Pili Kothi. We deal with the usual stuff like seasonal flu and minor injuries. It’s work that needs doing, and we’re glad to be the ones here to do it. It’s a plain, honest clinic for the people living in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and work through whatever the day brings to the door.
