Singhal Hospital

Our place is located in Sec.4r of the Awas Vikas Colony in Bodla, right near the big Pani Ki Tanki. It is a good landmark because everyone in this part of town knows exactly where that water tank is. Being in a residential colony means we see a lot of families walking by throughout the day. The hospital is tucked in between some houses and other small shops. We have a front desk that is usually piled with some papers, and the waiting area has enough seats for the morning rush. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn in some spots from all the walking back and forth over the years. We do not use any big signs or bright lights to get attention. Most people find us because they live just a few blocks away. It is a quiet enough area compared to the main roads, though you still hear the occasional vegetable seller calling out in the street. Inside, we keep things simple. There is a specific smell of cleaning supplies that hits you when you walk in, which is just part of the job. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s names and how we like our tea. It is not a fancy corporate building with glass walls, just a solid brick structure that does what it is supposed to do. We try to keep the chairs lined up, but they always end up moved around.
