Sikarwar General Store

Down in Shivhare Gali, right in the middle of Sikandra, you will find our small shop. Being in Agra, it gets really hot in the summer months, so we try to keep the store as cool as we can with just a basic fan. We have been sitting here for a long time now. People from the neighborhood come in for their daily supplies. It is a tight street, and sometimes it gets crowded with scooters and cycles passing by. We don't have a big team or anything, just us making sure the shelves aren't empty. You can find things like cooking oil, biscuits, and some stationery too. We don't do any big advertisements. People just know where we are because we have been here for years. Sometimes we run out of something because the distributor didn't show up on time, but that’s just life in a small alley. We see the same people every morning and evening. It is nice to see the kids growing up as they come in to buy sweets after school. The shop is simple, nothing fancy at all. We just focus on getting the right items for the local families. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day, but when the neighbors stop by to talk about the weather or the local news, it makes the day go faster. We are just a regular part of the street.
