Shrishti Architecture & Interior Designer

Our office is over in Sanjay Place, right on Mahatma Gandhi Road. We're in unit 201 F, which is opposite Vikas Bhavan. It’s a central spot, so getting around the city from here is pretty easy. Shrishti Architecture & Interior Designer is basically just us trying to make spaces look a bit nicer. Making structural changes and decorating the inside is what we do most days. The place gets pretty messy with fabric swatches and tile samples everywhere. Having a perfectly clean desk isn't our style. If a desk is clean, it means nobody is working. We’ve been at this for several years now. People come in with pictures from magazines, and we try to explain what’s actually possible for a house in Agra. Sometimes they listen, and sometimes they don't. Doing our best with the space given is all that matters. The building we're in is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a flickering light in the hallway. But it’s home for our business. Much of our time is spent on the phone with contractors and painters. Coordination and making sure everyone is on the same page is hard work. We don't use big words or fancy presentations. Showing you what we’ve drawn over a cup of chai is how we like to work. It feels right. Most days we are here from ten until six.
