Shri Mahaveer Genera Store

Being on Rawat Paada Road in the Peepal Mandi area of Agra means there is never a quiet moment. Our store is right in the thick of things. We have a lot of regular items like oil, flour, and tea leaves. The shelves are a bit mismatched because we added them at different times over the years. We keep the most popular stuff near the front so we don't have to keep walking to the back. There is a ceiling fan that wobbles a little, but it works fine. We get our supplies from the local mandi, so everything is pretty fresh. The storefront is quite narrow, and sometimes the cows wandering the street block the entrance for a minute. We just wait for them to move. My hands are usually a bit dusty from handling the grain bags. We don't use fancy bags, just whatever we have. Sometimes the ledger gets a bit disorganized, but we figure it out by the end of the day. The tea guy from the stall across the street brings us a cup every afternoon. We don't have any big advertisements, just the name Shri Mahaveer written above the door in red paint. It is a small place but it serves the people living in the narrow lanes around here. We just try to keep things simple and honest for everyone. We have been here for years.
